10,000 hours just sounds really impressive right? But when you dive deeper into it, it gets more complicated. Basically, you need to be practicing the right things for all those hours if you want to see the progress. Not all domains will be equal.

Glad you like the bit on the book levels! It’s almost like getting first-hand or second-hand resources when researching a topic. It’s important to diversify the places you’re getting the knowledge from if you really want to grasp it.

It’s hard to pick my top 3 books on self-development. It really depends on what types of traits you’re trying to develop. But here are 3 relatively recent ones I’ve enjoyed:

The Captain Class: The Hidden Force that Creates the World’s Greatest Teams by Sam Walker

Yes to Life: In Spite of Everything & Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
